Common Name The Spotted Fernandezia

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru in seasonally dry cloud forests on western slopes at elevations around 2200 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completely by imbricate leaf bearing sheaths articulate to the distichous, thick, dark green leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an axillary, 1 to 2 flowered inflorecence arising from the upper leaves.
