Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with ascending, rarely branching, club-shaped, 3 noded, lower part elliptic in cross-section, apical node larger, oblong-elliptic in cross-section, flattened stems that carry oblong-lanceolate, narrowing abruptly at the base leaves that blooms in the summer on 1 to 2, from fascicles in front of and behind the leaf, successively single, several flowered inflorescence
