Common Name or Meaning The Large Flowered Flickingeria
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in China, Vietnam, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands and Sumatra at elevations of 1000 to 2100 meters in primary montane forests as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a free branching stem carrying sessile, not flattened, yellowish to reddish green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms in the spring on a very short, single flowered inflorescence carrying very short-lived flowers.
