Common Name Kelsall's Flickingeria

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in southern Malaysia in montane forests often in very windy exposed locations at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the later summer and fall on a short, successively single flowered inflorescence

Often cited as a synonym of F angustifolia but differs in the much larger central 3 calli of the lip as well as differences in the sepals and petals and this species turns red within 4 hours of it's opening.
