Common Name The Sobralia-Like Galeandra
Flower Size 2" [5 cm]
Found in San Marcos department of Guatemala in hot subtropical, very wet forests on palms at elevations around 150 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with thick, green with purple areas pseudobulbs enveloped by purple spotted, adpressed sheaths and carrying elliptic, reddish stained, thin, deciduous, trinerved, plicate leaves that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence.
