Found in central Taiwan in coniferous forests on tree trunks at elevations around 1400 to 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a repent, slender stem carrying distichous, closely spaced, grayish green abaxially, green adaxially, elliptic to oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a .4" [1 cm] long, 3 to 7 flowered, subumbellate inflorescence
