Found in Taiwan on montane slopes on trere trunks in montane forests at elevations of 2100 to 2300 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a simple, branched, pendulous, green to pale green, glabrous stem enveloped by persistent leaf sheaths carrying distichous, sessile, ovate, obtuse to rounded apically, obtuse basally, fleshy, smooth, not spotted leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an axillary, peduncle .32 to .48" [8 to 12 mm] long, fleshy, green, unspotted, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying yellowish, unscented flowers.
