Common Name or Meaning The Verrucose Gastrodia

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Malaysia, Java and Sumatra at elevations around 400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing mycoheterotrophic orchid with a horizontal, fleshy, cylindrical, branching rhizome giving rise to an erect, terete, dark brown, 3.6" [9 cm] long, 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
