Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to branching, thin, terete, leafy stems carrying patent, ligulate, oblique, obtuse-apiculate leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are snow white with two spots made up of dense gray-green dots towards the apex of the lip and a pale brown anther.
