Found in New Guinea at elevations around 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to branching, terete, densely leafy stems carrying erect-patent, elliptic to lanceolate-elliptic, obtuse cuneate below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that the flowers are snow white with a pale brown anther.
