Found in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua in cloud forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a basally glabrous, pubescent above, ascending stem carrying towards the apex, several, elliptic, acute, green, carinate, gradually narrowing below into the basally clasping, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, racemose, pubescent, many flowered inflorescence with white to yellowish flowers
