Common Name The Hairy Lipped Govenia

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and Guatemala on forested slopes at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 2, subopposite, erect-spreading, elliptic, shortly acuminate, thinly membranaceous, plicate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a slender, glabrous, loose below congested above, shorter than the leaves, 12 to 18" [30 to 45 cm] long, racemose inflorescence.
