Common Name The Striped Govenia
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Colombia and Venezuela at elevations around 800 meters as a medium to large sized, warm growing terrestrial with a small ovoid pseudobulb enveloped completely by leaf sheath bases, uppermost 2 leaf bearing, carrying 2, apical, erect, plicate, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below intothe canaliculate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, lateral, from the side of the pseudobulb erect, thin, terete, 24" [60 cm] long, overall, rachis 8" [20 cm] long, sublaxly several to many flowered inflorescence.
