Found in Sabah Borneo and Sulawesi on forested slopes in hill forests at elevations around 150 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing, twig epiphyte with a short stem carrying a fan of elliptic, obtuse leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on 8 to 10, active, to 3 flowered inflorescence and carries flowers that last to 5 days unlike the rest of the genus which are very short-lived.
