GROUP Odontospathum

Characterized by the sympodial, caespitose habit, laterally compressed stems, successive flowers and a generally sub-erect, paniculate inflorescence, the peduncle with up to 10 prominent, conduplicate, ancipitose, bracts covering the lower part of the peduncle.
