Common Name The Tall Habenaria

Flower Size .48" [1.2 cm]

Found in Madagascar in humid, mossy, evergreen forests and shady humid granite rocks at elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters as a large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with elongated tubers giving rise to an erect, robust stem carrying towards the middle, 8 or so, obovate, acute leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, terminal, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence carrying green flowers
