Common Name The Short-Spurred Habenaria

Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a large to giant sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, glabrous, laxly leafy stem carrying erect to slightly patent, lanceolate-ligulate to narrowly lanceolate, acute, largest in the middle, decreasing in size above and below leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, cylindrical, to 9.2" [23 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, erect-patent, slightly longer than the ovary below and shorter than above floral bracts.
