Found in Goias, DF, Minas Gerais, and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in grasslands as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by small, oblong-ellipsoid, obtuse to acute, somewhat concave, basally claspng leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, 2 to 3.6" [5 to 9 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, long-acuminate, as long as the flowers floral bract.
