Common Name The Cauca Habenaria [A department of southern Colombia]

Found in Valle de Cauca Department of Colombia in savannas at elevations of 1400 to 1600 meters as a large sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, flexuous stem with black suffused or spotted sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, linear-lanceolate, acute to acuminate leaves taht blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, to 6" [15 cm] long, laxly 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acuminate floral bracts and carrying yellowish green flowers
