Common Name The Green Sepal Habenaria - In Australia - The Green Hooded Rein Orchid

Found in Queensland state of Australia at elevations of 200 to 400 meters among low shrubs and grass on slopes and among grasses in sparse woodlands that partially flood during the wet season as a small to large sized, hot growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, basal, erect, bluish green leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on an erect, 8 to 21.5" [20 to 53 cm] long, 8 to 20 flowered inflorescence and carrying slightly fragrant flowers.
Similar to Habenaria propinquior but differs in the smaller, narrower bluish green leaves, the more elongated and narrower inflorescence crowded with smaller flowers the narrower tepals and the green sepals and the lip with the apex curved forward.
