Found in southeastern Madagascar at elevation around 1500 to 1600 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, simple, leafy throughout stem carrying linear lanceolate, flat, glabrous, narrowing towards both ends, the upper 2 to 3 reduced leaves and grading into bracts that blooms on an erect, terminal, simple, papillose axis, several flowered inflorescence with triveined, 1/4 shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying flowers of unknown color.
