Found in Antananarivo province of Madagascar in savannahs on rocks at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, to 8" [20 cm] long, laxly, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-acuminate, as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying yellow green flowers.
Similar to H arachnoides in the flowers and H lancifolia is similar in plant habit.
