Found in DF, Goias, Matto Grosso, Bahia and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in damp grasslands as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped sparsely by bract-like triangular, acute leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a terminal, erect, 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, long acuminate, as long as or longer than the ovary floral bracts.
