Common Name Culver's Habenaria
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Natal, Swaziland and Transvaal in mistbelt evergreen forests at elevations of 500 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing, slender terrestrial with an erect, leafy throughout stem carrying 7 to 10, cauline, alternate, widely spaced, elliptic, crenulate margin, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, laxly 9 to 25 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
