Flower Size small

Found in Malawi and Tanzania around seepage rocks and gravel workings at elevations around 1700 to 2300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with globose to ellipsoid tubers giving rise to an erect, densely leafy stem carrying 7 to 12, lowermost 3, white with green reticulation, sheath-like, the next 7 to 8, semi erect, close set, lanceolate to linear, acute, conduplicate, grading shorter and narrower above leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a terminal, erect, 1.8 to 3.6" [4.5 to 9 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts.
