Common Name The Non-Beaked Habenaria
Flower Size 3/4" [1.8 cm] wide
Found in Thailand and Vietnam in grasslands at elevations around 50 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with stems carrying 4 to 5, cauline, scattered on the lower stem, lanceolate-oblong, acute, mucronate leaves grading above into to 7, erect to spreading, lanceolate, acuminate, margins shortly hairy sterile bracts that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, terminal, glabrous, 14.4 to 17.2" [36 to 43 cm] long, semi-dense, 8 to many flowered inflorescence with a rachis of 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] and lanceolate, acuminate, margins shortly hairy floral bracts.
