Common Name The Beautiful Habenaria
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo, Parana' and Rio do Sul states of Brazil at elevations around 1000 meters as a small to giant sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths carrying erect, lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late summer on an erect, terminal, to 10" [25 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, acuminate, shorter to the same length as the ovary floral bracts.
