Found in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in evergreen oak forests at elevations of 250 to 900 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 2 to 3, cauline, scattered in the lower half of the stem, narrowly elliptic-oblong, subacute leaves grading above into 2 to 4, semi-erect to spreading, narrowly lanceolate, sterile bracts that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 12 to 14,4" [30 to 36 cm] long, lax 6 to 12 flowered inflorescence with a 2 to 3.8" [5 to 12 cm] long, rachis and lanceolate to ovate, acuminate floral bracts.
