Found in the District Federal of Brazil in wet grasslands at elevations around 1000 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 9 to 12, adpressed to the stem, narrowly linear leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, loosely 7 to 12 flowered inflorescence with oblong-lanceolate, caudate, longer than the ovary floral bracts. .
