Found in Northern Territory of Australia along and close to streams in bushes, grasses and sedges in seasonally inundated low-lying areas in woodlands as a medium to large sized, hot growing terrestrial with a broadly ovoid tuber 2 to 3 basal, erect, dark green leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a terminal, erect, 12 to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, 7 to 18 flowered inflorescence with narrowly ovate-lanceolate, long acuminate, shorter than the ovary, carrying very fragrant flowers
