Common Name Hosokawa's Habenaria - In China Mao Chun Yu Feng Hua
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in central and southern Taiwan at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a stem carrying 4 to 6, towards the middle, oblanceolate to oblong, acute apically leaves and 3 to 4, bract-like leaves above that blooms in the summer on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, loosely 6 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
Kew has this species as a synonym of H petelotii but if I have them right they are quite different, so I have kept them separate pending further research.
