Common Name The Water-Loving Habenaria

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in and around hot springs as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by lanceolate, purplish green,obtuse, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, short, 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, membraneous, concave, 3 to 5 nerved, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying small, greenish white flowers.
