Common Name The Smooth Rimmed Lip Habenaria

Flower Size

Found in northern Sumatra near Lake Toba in open swampy areas at elevations around 1050 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with lanceolate, acuminate leaves and above many leafy lanceolate to linear leafy bracts that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, peduncle to 3" [7.5 cm] long, rachis to 2.6" [6.5 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with linear, gradually narrowed, very acute, ciliate floral bracts and carrying medium sized, white flowers.
