Common Name The Irazu Habenaria [A Volcano in Costa Rica]

Found in Costa Rica in humid forets at elevations around 1400 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with oblong tubers giving rise to an erect, terete, glabrous stem carrying 6, erect-patent, oblong-lanceolate, acute to shortly acuminate leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, 4" [10 cm] long, sublaxly 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence and carrying white flowers
