Common Name The Itatiaia Habenaria [A Mountain in Rio de Janiero state ]

Found in Bahia, Rio de Janiero and Minas Gerais states of Brazil in dry grasslands as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by imbricating leaf less sheaths becoming leaf bearing above and carrying patent erect, linear, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 2.4 to 7.6" [6 to 19 cm] long, more or less many flowered inflorescence with variable sized floral bracts.
