Found in Goias, DF, Matto Grosso , Minas Gerais, and Tocantins states of Brazil in dry grasslands as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by imbricating, sheaths carrying oblong-lanceolate, acute, shorter below, longer above floral bracts that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, several flowered inflorescence.
