Found in Goias, DF and Minas Gerais states of Brazil in dry grasslands as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, thin stem enveloped by straight, narrow, acute, strongly amplexicaul, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on an erect, terminal, to 2.8" [7 cm] long, 1 to 3, rarely four flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
