Common Name Letouze's Habenaria

Found in Prinipe islands in primary forests at elevations up to 600 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a rather delicate, erect, glabrous stem carryiung 6, clustered in the basal part of the stem. erect to spread, canaliculate, narrow obovate to oblanceolate, acuminate petiolate base leaves with 5 cauline bracts above that blooms in the winter in an erect, erminal, 10.4 to 12.4" [31 to 36 cm] long, rather lax, 15 to 25 flowered inflorescence with oblong-lanceolate, acute, glabrous , shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying widely opening, middle sized flowers.
