Common Name The White Flowered Habenaria

Found in Goias, DF, Minas Gerais, Matto Grosso, Sao Paulo, Parana', Rio do Sul and Santa Catarina states of Brazil, Bolivia and Uruguay as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by oblong-lanceolate, acute, dorsally carinate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, .8 to 3.2" [2 to 8 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, slightly acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
