Found in Colombia and Venezuela in shrubs at elevations around 1500 to 2700 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a delicate, leafy stem carrying 3 to 7, oblong-lanceolateto linear-lanceolate, acuminate, erct, decreasing in size above leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, erect, 1.2 to 2.8" [3 to 7 cm] long, laxly few to several flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceoalte, acuminate longer than the ovary floral bracts.
