Found in central and eastern Java on roadside cuttings and between rocks on steep hillsides at elevations around 760 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 3 narrowly lanceolate, acute leaves becoming smaller above that blooms in the spring on an erect, about 6" [about 15 cm] long, 15 to 35 flowered, well spaced, inflorescence
