Found in Java in montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a large, underground tuber with 4 to 6, well spaced, ovate, acuminate leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, to 12 flowered inflorescence
