Common Name The Small Petaled Habenaria

Found in Java in montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a large, underground tuber giving rise to an erect stem carrying 4 to 6, sessile, well spaced, elongate to lanceolate, ovate, acuminate leaves grading smaller above into bracts, that blooms on a terminal, erect, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, finely pointed, concave, very finely toothed on the margins, as long as the ovary floral bracts.
