Found in Sao Paulo and Rio do Sul states of Brazil as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a oblong tuber giving rise to an erect, leafy stem carrying 5 to 6, erect-patent, elliptic, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, to 4.6" [to 9 cm] long, to 9 or more flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, lanceolate-elliptic, acumiante, shorter to just as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying glabrous, erect-patent,
Kew puts this one as a synonym of H ekmanniana but I have left them separate pending further research.
