Common Name or Meaning The Back-Bent Habenaria

Flower Size .16" to .4" [6.5 to 1 cm]

Found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Java and Sumatra in evergreen forests, scrublands and grasslands at elevations of 125 to 1400 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with 3 to 6 , clusterd in the lower third of the stem, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, mucronate, gradually narrowing below in to the petiolate base leaves and grading above into 5 to 9, suberect, lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, mostly hairy margined sterile bracts that blooms in the late summer and fall on an erect, 4" to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, lax, 1 to many flowered, hairy inflorescence with the rachis being 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long and carrying lanceolate, acute floral bracts
