Found in Luzon the Philippines along moist river banks at elevations around 75 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing terrestrial with a tuber giving rise to a slender stem with 3 to 4 sheaths and carrying in a basal rosette, linear leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, few flowered inflorescence with 1/3rd as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying odorless, white flowers..
Similar to H vanoverbergii but H rosulata has narrower leaves, light pink colored flowers, a thicker spur and wider sepals.
Similar to H vanoverbergii but it has broader leaves, green flowers, a more slender spur and narrower sepals.
