Common Name The Round Lobed Habenaria
Flower Size .4" [1 cm] wide
Found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela at elevations of 175 to 200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized hot growing terrestrial with an erect, more or less robust, glabrous stem carrying 5 to 8 grass-like, erect patent, linear oblong to lanceolate, acute, conspicuously 3 to 5 nerved, carinate beneath, basally clasping leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 1.2 to 5.2" [3 to 13 cm] long, laxly 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence with lnceolate, longly acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying erect-patent. small flowers
CAUTION This species has often been put as a synonym of H macronectar but they are quite different. It is a variable species and for that reason I have offered various drawings.
