Common Name The Thai Habenaria

Flower Size .2” [5 mm]

Found in Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in dry deciduous forests at elevations around 20 to 645 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with erect stems carrrying to 12, cauline, scattered around the middle of the stem or all along it, broadly elliptic to lanceolate, acute, mucronate, pale green to silvery beneath leaves without sterile bracts that blooms in the later spring through early summer on an erect, terminal, glabrous, 17.6” to 20” [44 to 50 cm] long, lax, many flowered inflorescence with a 3.2 to 6" [8 to 15 cm] long rachis carrying lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
