Common Name Vasquez' Habenaria [Bolivian dicoverer of species and orchid enthusiast 2015]

Found in Bolivia on grassy slopes at elevations around 2900 to 3000 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with subglobose tuber giving rise to an erect srtem enveloped completly by conduplicate leaf bases carrying ovate, cuneate basally, infundibuliform, decreasing in size both upwards and downwards from near the middle leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 1" [2.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish flowers.
