Common Name Vollesen's Habenaria [Danish Botanist and original co-collector Currrent]

Found in Ethiopia in low woodlands and high bushlands at elevations of 1200 to 1575 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, leafy in the lower half stem carrying 2 to 5, lanceolate to almost linear, becoming smaller towards the apex leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4.8" to 5.6" [12 to 14 cm] long, rather laxly 20 to 30 flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate, usually somewhat shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
