Found in Sikkim and Bhutan at elevations of 4000 to 4100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to an erect, cylindric, slender stem carrying 2 to 3, lanceolate-oblanceolate, sessile, acute recurved apically leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, peduncle ribbed, 1.8 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
